Waterski Days

We spent the past weekend in Lake City at my parents house for waterski days. Everyone had a good time. We took Carter and Ali down to the rides and to play a few games, boy is it ever expensive. We went to the beach where Jeff and Carter went on a boat ride and Ali played in the sand. And on Sunday we went to the parade. There was also a craft show, softball game, waterski show, and of course music and beer. We had a great time and look forward to going back again next year.

Chutes and Ladders

We discovered a new and free park that is not too far from home. It is in the hyland park reserve and is huge. Carter and Ali love it there. There is lots to do and great seating for parents as well. It is close to walking trails, a nature center and even a lake. It is great. We were lucky enough to be able to take Carter and Ali's cousins there a few weeks ago . They had a blast! Trips to the Zoo

• We did a little splurging earlier this spring and bought a pass to the MN zoo. We have gone twice so far. We went Easter weekend to see all the farm babies and went this past Saturday. Believe it or not the zoo is a pretty popular place even when it is raining. We enjoyed the indoor trails and rode on the monorail which takes you along one of the outside trails. We had a great time as always.
